Tim Pratt is the author of five novels (so far), beginning with contemporary fantasy The Strange Adventures of Rangergirl (2005). He writes an urban fantasy series about ass-kicking sorcerer Marla Mason under the byline T.A. Pratt, with four books so far: Blood Engines (2007), Poison Sleep (2008), Dead Reign (2008), and Spell Games (2009).

His short fiction and poetry have appeared in The Best American Short Stories, The Year’s Best Fantasy and Horror, Strange Horizons, Realms of Fantasy, Asimov’s, Lady Churchill’s Rosebud Wristlet, and Year’s Best Fantasy, among many others. His stories have been collected in Little Gods (2003) and Hart & Boot & Other Stories (2007).
