Jeannie Holmes is a native of southwest Mississippi. (Yes, the accent is real.) A total caffeine junkie, she credits a liberal use of coffee in her obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of South Alabama in 2006 and a Master of Arts in English with an emphasis in creative writing in 2008. Before dedicating (and some say losing) her sanity to writing full-time, she worked in a variety of interesting fields, including medical records, independent auction houses, and owned a small handcrafted jewelry business.
She currently lives in Mobile, Alabama with her husband and four neurotic cats, and is hard to find during hurricane season. Her debut novel, BLOOD LAW, will be published by Dell Publishing in July 2010.
