Diana’s Sunday Quickie–The soundtrack

If there’s anything resembling a lyric, it can’t be in the room with me while I’m writing. I have a hard time concentrating with any sort of noise or distraction (yes, I’m the kind of person who turns the radio down when I’m looking for an address!) So, I’ll usually have some sort of music playing–just to cover up miscellaneous background noise–but I have it turned way down. My preferences usually run to really familiar classical, though lately I’ve been playing the soundtrack to Lord of the Dance. But, I do have to admit that track 11 on that CD is my favorite, and I’ll often turn the volume up for that one. And during that track I might possibly dance around my office in a grotesque parody of Irish dancing, but that’s a completely unconfirmed rumor, and I’ll hotly deny it to anyone who suggests it.

But are there photos of this activity?

    Better yet… Video?

Must introduce myself to your husband to determine his bribabiliy quotient…

No photos! This only happens (if it does in fact happen, which I refuse to confirm) in the private sanctity of my office!

I always say I need silence “so I can hear my brain think” 😉 I wouldn’t mind some low mood music, but this machine has no speakers or sound card (not sure, really), so I can only listen with headphones, but that isn’t too good for my ears, whatever the volume…
